adidas originals is celebrating its 60th birthday..the berlin edition of the adidas house party took place at the adidas concept store..the shop was completly redecorated to fit the house party theme..there was no bar where you could get a drink, you just had to go to kitchen and fix yourself a drink..there were also regular pizza deliveries.. it felt like a real house party..of course the music was top notch too..it was a blast..according to the fan comments..

Hotel Missoni Kuwait is a luxury lifestyle hotel due to open in Kuwait's shopping and entertainment district of Salmiya by June 2009. It will be among the very first of several properties of a joint venture between the Missoni fashion house and The Rezidor Hotel Group, and will follow a 136-room property in Edinburgh, Scotland which opens in May 2009. The hotel's architects are Dino Georgiou & Partners, while the interior designer is Italian architect Matteo Thun in collaboration with Rosita Missoni. It is currently planned to be the only designer hotel in Kuwait and the first in the Middle East.

Hong Kong based young designer Kaman Tung has created a set of cafe furniture with compartments to hold personal belongings. These series of chairs are designed for outdoor café or restaurants and public spaces.
Following is from Kaman Tung: The idea came from the habit and needs people have when they are outside. For example, in restaurants and bars, we always put our coat and bags on the back of the chair, and we always have to worry that someone might steal our belongings. And sometimes, we have bags that are too precious to put them on the dirty floor. That is the reason why I try to make public furniture that response to these needs.

Rough Luxe is the complete antithesis to all of that. According to Rabih Hage: ‘Beauty is subjective. Perfection doesn’t mean beauty. It’s not important.
